RIO DE JANEIRO, July 15 (Xinhua) -- Ronaldinho's Atletico Mineiro scored three goals in 12 minutes on Saturday to secure a 4-3 come-from-behind victory over Figueirense in Brazil's Serie A championship.
After the match the two-time FIFA world player of the year Ronaldinho lavished praise on the team, which has moved four points clear at the top of the standings.
It has been a special night. This proves how strong we are, Ronaldinho said.
It's a fantastic feeling to be leading the competition but now we have to try to maintain this form.
The former Barcelona and AC Milan star opened the scoring with a 17th-minute penalty at the Scarpelli Stadium in Florianopolis.
But successive goals from Anderson Conceicao, Julio Cesar and Roni gave Figueirense a 3-1 lead early in the second half.
Leonardo Silva began the comeback for Atletico with a 64th-minute goal before Bernard and Guilherme completed the revival.
