　　The first Fathers Day was observed on June 19， 1910 in Spokane Washington. At about the same time in various towns and cities across American other people were beginning to celebrate a fathers day. In 1924 President Calvin Coolidge supported the idea of a national Fathers Day. Finally in 1966 President Lyndon Johnson signed a presidential proclamation declaring the 3rd Sunday of June as Fathers Day.第一个父亲节是1910年6月19日,在华盛顿斯波坎。大约在同一时间在美国其他各种城镇和城市人开始庆祝父亲节。1924年,美国总统加尔文库利奇支持国家的父亲节这个想法。林登约翰逊总统最终于1966年签署了总统公告宣布6月的第三个星期日,为父亲节。
