GUANGZHOU, China, Aug. 3 (Xinhua) -- Spanish giant Real Madrid thumped Chinese super league leaders Guangzhou Evergrande 7-1 here on Wednesday night.

Khedira opened the scoring for Real followed by Ozil, Ronaldo, Jeze and Di Maria each, adding Bezenma's twice. Guangzhou's youngster Yang Yihu scored a consolation goal just before the final whistle.
