MOSCOW, March 8 (Xinhua) -- Perrine Laffont of France and Canada's Mikael Kingsbury took the spoils in the fourth dual moguls showdown of the 2019/20 FIS World Cup season in Krasnoyarsk on Saturday.

After having secured her third consecutive World Cup title last week in Almaty, the pressure was off Laffont, and she duly won the women's competition with some clean and fast skiing allied to big tricks on the jumps.

The course was so fun, said Laffont, I really enjoyed skiing the last two days, it was soft and the bumps were perfect. I just tried to enjoy it and have fun, and that's what I did in the end and I'm happy with the win.

Jakara Anthony of Australia finished in second place, while Jaelin Kauf of the USA rounded out the women's podium.

In the men's event, Kingsbury recovered from having to settle for second place last weekend to take his seventh win of the season, securing his ninth consecutive moguls World Cup crystal globe in the process with two events still to come this season.

This is one of the best venues I've competed in my entire career so I hope we'll be coming back next year, Kingsbury said. It's my third victory in three World Cup starts in Russia, so this place has been good to me. I'm very happy to be here today.

Thomas Gerken Schofield of Britain finished the competition in a career-best second place, while the USA's Bradley Wilson scored his first podium of the 2019/20 season in third.

The moguls tour now moves to Idre Fjall in Sweden on March 14 and 15 for the two final competitions of the 2019/20 FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup season.
